Gum comes out usually w/ peanutbutter, the oils is the peanutbutter soften the gum to make it removeable, but I'm not sure about on silk. Ink comes out with rubbing alcohol or sometimes nail polish remover. Then, wash right away! Check on "helpful household hints", by Heloise. Google her, she's been around a long time and her hints are right on the mark!

Wow, silk? Hmm, try putting an ice cube on the gum and see if that will help by making it cold. Guess you could also put the item in the freezer.
As for the ink, I would totally take it to the dry cleaners and see if they can help.

Try holding an ice cube on the gum so it becomes hard. It may break off the fabric. For ink, spritz a little hairspray on it. That will usually take it out.

Look for a product called "Goo-gone" that should take it out. It works great for lipstick, magic markers, and crayons. I purchased it in the supermarket where the laundry stuff is, and it was under $3.00!
