Any Starbucks drinking fiend I know would love a gift card from there! It's something useful for them! You can send me one also! ;)
You could do something a little special and get a gift card from one place and a gift from the other. Like a Starbucks gift card, and a nice bookmark from Borders. Or vice versa - gift card from Borders and a nice mug from Starbucks.
