Women know exactly what they are looking for, get in and get out, every so often a woman will browse - but rarely.
A man will take all day, say things like "OOOH Sparkly", and have to try on everything twice!!!

In my humble opinion, and talking about supermarket food shopping mainly.
men are more organised
they make more on spec purchases
they are faster through tills
