YES!!! it cancels the effectiveness of the pill. Check with the doctor he will tell you the same thing. Or read the pamphlet that come in your pill packet and it will list the medications that can not be taken with the pill.

I say yes- I was on a different medication with the pill, and became preggo. "Wud ur belly feel swallon????????" what does that mean?
Your doctor will let you know if the medication you are taking will interfere with the pill.

Yes you can get pregnant if you are on the pill and take any type of antibiotic, including penicillin. The antibiotic counteracts with the hormones in the pill and can make the pill ineffective. You would have to be at the appropriate time of the month (ovulating) to get pregnant, so it is rare, but completely possible.

well you can get pregnant even if he used a condom and you used a femidom as well plus the pill and every thing because when you read the pamphlet that accompanies these things it always says they are not 100% effective...you want to know why???? i will tel you.
back in the early seventys they genetically modified a few male babys..right...well see these blokes have genetically modified sperm and are the best love makers around since time began...they also have SAS(super assed sperm), they swim quicker and harder than salmon and can get through anything...if you find you are pregnant to a bloke born in the early seventys this could be the case....and in such a situation you should keep the baby as it may well be a "super baby"(as termed by the special branch and the cia)(plus you can flog it to the highest bidder...only super powers will buy one for military purposes)...i hope i dont get whacked for leaking this highly sensitive and top secret information....but the world needs to know....BEWARE OF THE THIRTYSOMETHING WITH A BULGE IN HIS PANTS AND A GLINT IN HIS BEADY EYE.....

I hope I am understanding your question right. Yes, you can get pregnant while you are on the pill for various reasons. Taking certain medications while you are on the pill lower the effectiveness of the pill. That is why if you are on the pill you should contact your doctor anytime you are going to take additional medication.

Penicillin can affect the pill. When you are taking any antibiotic you need to protect yourself from pregnancy with a condom or foam. Your belly may not be swollen from pregnancy this early, it might be something else. You should call your doctor.

yes you can get pregnant taking antibiotics, if your taking birth control. The antibiotics will make your pills not work. They told me this when I got on the pill.

Yah some antibiotics affect the birth control pill. Usually your doctor will warn you tho.

if i have your question right you have a chance to get pregnant while on the pill if you tall antibiotics...some antibiotics will weaken the effect of the birth control pill that your taking
