calling all houstonians...?

my 35 yr old dude and I are from galveston and its totally boring here in the off season, no clubs or anywhere fun to go, looking for a few clubs, whole in the wall spots, where the crowd is civilized, no guns and stuff, good R&B music, cold beer, does anyone know of some fun clubs/bars anywhere around here, i am willing to drive about 50 miles just for some fun....

what ever you do dont attempt to go downtown houston... look into going to the ricevillage area... there are decent people there and not too many young kids. clubs like europa and the red door

Seabrook Beach Club and you don't have to drive all the way to Houston
