Because they're hypocrites and their position always changes as they believe it works to their advantage.
For example, they suddenly become moral when complaining about Foley out of the clear blue sky, when it makes no difference otherwise.

Here's another way to look at his. Did Pres Clinton in the mid '90s have a moral right to go into Kosovo? Or vice versa in matters related to the Balkan issue.

Easy. "Objective" means that it is a proven fact. There is no morality that can be proven as a fact. Therefore, saying that Bush and the war are immoral is a "subjective" statement, meaning that it is one's opinion.

There is no objective morality; it is entirely subjective. And I have never heard a Liberal claim the war was "immoral", only unjust, which is a matter of law -not morality.

First don't try to figure Liberal thinking. They say the terrorist are innocent victims? Give me a break. They throw a fit if a cross or other religious symbol on public land. They say it offends them and violates the seperation of church and State. But did you see in the news where they set up crosses on public land as a statement about the war?
They say ALL killing is wrong and oppose the death penalty but are in favor of abortion?

MATT, MATT, MATT It`s not that . Most all Americans don`t really disagree with the war in general .I`Ts the way it came about(jumped the gun, Corruption and lies ) and the way Bush has handled it. I`m sure we all as a nation want to protect our country but there are alot of ways to handle that BEFORE YOU SHOULD just go to another country and start blowing sh-t up.

Which "liberals" made this claim?
I put liberals in quotes because I'm sure you have no idea what liberalism is and it's just a term you use to define people you don't like.

how do we know such statement is true?
morals are subjective, they vary from person to person.
objective morals are probably ethics.
personal drive for a war is not ethical, neither is lying or being stupid about such military action, i.e. weapons of mass destruction.

Could I have the speech or the framework where this idea arose? It just that it strikes me as more political double-talk and it is very convoluted and tortured
