This might not be what you are interested in, but I am a fan of books. When my nephew was in kindergarten I bought him some comic books (age appropriate) for his birthday, and he loved them. He even took them out in his playhouse. Normally he is a tv, video/computer games type of kid, but he really got into those comic books. Maybe that might work for you? Good luck; I know sometimes it is difficult to find the right thing for someone.

Super heros, Those dress up as one stuff,Arts and craft, Stuff animals,Small books,a bike,swing set,sandbox,fake tools, I dont know what they are called but you know the fake kitchen for girls? They have stuff for boy now like that. Those cars the kids drive around in. Thats all I can really think about.
