If you are looking for high speed internet it appears that EVDO & CDMA networks are being deployed at a faster rate and are faster at 2.4mbs. GSM has a high speed internet side known as EDGE (Enhanced Data Rate for GSM Enhanced) and promisis high speed intenet rates as fast as EVDO but doesn't deliver.
