I agree with arrizona. I prefer being called lady, it is the more respectful term. I was taught to call other women ladies and I would hope others would be willing to do the same for me.

I like being called a lady. All ladies are women, but not all women are ladies.

I personally prefer "lady", woman is kinda caveman-ish. But I guess "woman" is better thab "m'am". I hate that.
