My penis has in the last 3 months become incredibly hairy, my girlfriend finished with me complaining that chewbacca (it's nickname) look ugly and was unhygenic, and shaving the wookie chaffed her to much.
The hair now grows up the entire 4inches of my shaft but not on the bell end. I haven't been circumcised and the pubes under there are really irritable.
Should I wax or seek medical advice?

What you must do is to spend some $$$$$$$
go to a licensed conventional electrolysis practitioner - NOT the LASER variety - one who does the standard electric needle probe method - these guys are licensed and some of them WILL WORK on the penis and private parts. Call them, explain situation to them and let them treat you.
Your results will be permanent. hairs will not regrow. sure it stings you a bit, but so what ????

I had some extra hairs around the base only - but I wanted to be smoother and clean & so I endured electric probe electrolysis.
I withstood the pain like a man and I'm not sorry. Best $$$$$$$

Shaving is the safest method.If you cant shave freqently,go to a doctor and reove the hairs by electrolytic method.Mean while check whether any hormone imbalance is there requiring correction.Avoid vitamin tablets containing Zinc(Zevit),if you are already taking discontinue.Zinc increases hair growth.

try waxing it, use something like nair for men and then rub some baby oil on it when you are done, that should keep the hairs nice and fine, when the hair starts to grow back trim it as soon as possible to avoid having to wax it again

let it grow, you may need that hair down there someday for a reason - let's hope the rest of us never find out what that reason is.
