Press shift and 4 at the same time before you start building the zoo to avoid fence decay. You can also get extra money every day if you name a visitor Moneybags or Rich Uncle Pennybags.

I think its an option in the beginning isnt it? when you are picking what size you zoo you want you can give yourself tons of money, have to do it for my daughter who likes to buy all kinds of stuff and then 15 minutes later she's broke....hope this helps
