yes! I have had a while back I had this girl run up and give me a big hug and kiss telling me how much she has missed me.I still haven't figured out who the heck it was

i'm really bad about that. i am so friendly that i meet more people than i can later recognize and i've move around a lot in my life. i've just recently moved back to my hometown again after six years and took my new car to the shop. The guy at the dealership said we were friends in junior high. That was over 20 years ago. Damn i can't remember that!
Sometimes even on a daily basis i'll bump in with someone and they will call me by my name so i know we've met before

Yeah, usually after a night of drinking..oops! I had a crazy night in vegas which ended with going to someone i had never meet before's wedding. The next day at the pool some weirdo guy was trying to talk to me like he knew me, I guess my friend could tell I was giving him an attitude, I didn't know who he was until she pointed out he was the groom from the night before.

All the time. I am terrible with names and faces.
A girl walked up to me on campus once and I knew I knew her from somewhere, but I just couldn't place the face. We talked for about 10 minutes and finally I ask,
"I'm sorry, where do I know you from again?"
She answers "My mother married your father."
She was my stepsister.
Okay, I never lived with her and I hadn't seen her in over a year, but it was still very embarassing.

Yes, and I am really bad at hiding the fact I don't know them. I used to try to pretend, but now I figure it's best to act really apologetic and just act a little confused until they tell me who they are. Usually no one is really offended.

Yes! I hate when it happens too because I feel bad for not remembering them... especially if they are distant family that I rarely see!

nope...I'm pretty good with faces, which basically means I am on the other side of the coin, I am the one recognizing people that don't remember me.

Yeah. Back in college, I was a celebrity. A bunch of people would yell my name out and pound me. I'd just laugh and say "hey, man" or "oh, it's you, what's up?"
