Right Click on Mycomputer
Properties
Goto Advanced Tab
Click on Settings Button in Performance Frame
Goto Advanced Tab
Click On Change
Set Min Sze to Atleast 500MB
And Max Size to Atleast a GB(1024 MB)
Note: the Max size must not exceed 4096 MB Because WinXP Wont support RAM more than 4GB.

First, let Windows handle the virtual memory. Do not reset it yourself. Second, make sure that you have enough free space on your hard drive. Virtual memory is just a file on your computer. If you need more virtual memory, and Windows is managing it, it will just increase the size of the file when you click on the low memory message. But it has to have empty space on the hard drive to increase the file. You need to keep at least 105 (or 1 GIG minimum) of your drive free for Windows to operate.

you go to system and select advanced and select in that performance settings and select advanced and select change

you should let your os manage that for you if it needs more it'll notify you for your ok to do so
