My systems Admin have restricted our user levels so we can't change some of the things on our PC's but I'm getting fed up with looking at the wallpaper, our company logo! Anyone know a way of getting round this?

Been there, Done that. We have the exact same thing here where I work. I can get mine to display a different image as wallpaper, but it has to be reset every morning when I come in because the server will not save my settings.

Try this: Find an image you wish to display, Open it using the paint program provided in every version of Windows, under the file menu choose "save as wallpaper (centered)". It might be necessary for you to first save this image as a bitmap, it may also be necessary after you save it to exit "Paint" and reopen the bitmap version before using paint to set it as wallpaper.

If this doesn't work I would suggest your administrator is a little smarter then ours.

If you know the name of the current wallpaper, simple find and delete (or rename) the current file. Then place the picture you want to use into the same directory and give it the same name. Reboot and it will use your wallpaper instead.

You may also be able to change your wallpaper by going to a web site that has the picture you want, right-clicking on the picture, and selecting "set as wallpaper". Normally when they restrict wallpaper changes, it is only the user and not be the Windows.

No. Not without your systems admins giving you access to those resources.
