Tell your mom your softball is interfering with your studies and you need to spend more time on those. Studies are way more important than your softball.

Do you want to go to college? Can you afford to go if you don't have the scholarship?

Studies are important, and there are other scholarships available. They won't be a full ride, but at least there will be some financial help.

A college degree is very important in today's society, and I think that one way or another you should attend college. If you don't want to play ball anymore, fine. That is your decision. I think you are passing up on an opportunity of a lifetime, but you make the call.

Tough. Consider yourself lucky that you got a scholarship in the first place and stick it out. It can't be that bad for crying out loud.

Think it over, remember with this scholarship your helping your mom pay for your education.
Try talking to her, tell her how you feel and maybe you both can figure out what to do.
Lots of luck.
