Are you asking about using the "msconfig" to turn on and off the items loaded at startup?????
If so, the answer is unique to your PC. There is no one answer to the question. Go to the startup tab, and uncheck everything. Reboot, and if you find anything that is not working right, or how you want, then go back and recheck the item.
But trail and error is about the only way to do it.

The most important things needed to turn on automatically at startup are..
Your antivirus,
any ISP software,
keyboard... if you need to make any changes in the properties.
Other things are most likely just optional and having them come on at start up can cause a conflict problem.
Even auto windows updates cause problems if it starts when I boot up.
But that is changed in My Computer properties.
