I think it depends on the color of the hose and the shoes. They would have to match really well. It can look ok. I think black or very sheer nude would look best. That old school brown color doesn't really look too well with open toes.
EDIT
Are you wearing a dress or skirt? If so the suggestions from other people to cut the toes out or wear the toeless kind of pantyhose would look more ridiculous than any pantyhose with the toes in! You don't want to have pantyhose covered legs with no pantyhose on the toes! Only if you are wearing LONG pants can you do this and only then if you are sure they won't be riding up so high to reveal your pantyhosed legs. Sorry I just saw that you are wearing strappy shoes, so it's best to just go with the pantyhose the regular way, don't think of cutting the toes out! lol

Yes, that's what sandal toes are made for, as long as you go for a nude color, and not black or another fashion color.
If you get a low enough denier (the measure of how thick the material is) then you won't even be able to tell that you are wearing hose. Charnos, Pretty Polly, and Wolford are all good brands that offer a very sheer hose. You should be able to find at least one of them at a local department store.

Yes, I think that sheer toe hose should look fine. That's what they are for in my mind.

no that won't be okay. maybe cut the toe out of the hose. but don't wear them showing the toe. it's tacky.

Sounds OK to me. Be sure you don't get the industrial strength pantihose. Go ultra shear. Better yet, wear stockings.

Its a fashion No No - dont do it. Use fake tan on your legs instead. And a good pedicure helps.
