It's sometimes Ok if it's one size smaller, In the winter I can buy size 5 shoes but in the summer my feet swell and they have to be a 6 or 7. Irrelevant to your question though I'm afraid.

I know the feeling. I popped in to a suit place the other week and found a nice one and asked if they had it in a longer leg length. The spotty youth went into the back and said that they had no longer leg lengths in stock but I could probably be able to lengthen the leg myself.
