Are you nuts? You can get upwards of $10,000 for the PS3. I read somewhere that Sony isn't making another shipment of PS3 until March of next year, so whatever is on the market is whatever is out there. Christmas is coming up and there are going to be a lot of desperate people who wants a PS3 for Christmas, so they're going to overbid. Don't forget that the PS3 doesn't have region coding, so people from other countries will be bidding on it. Take advantage of the shortage and make the minimum bid to be at least $10,000.

I hope you realise that a console bought from the U.S. or
Japan and imorted into the U.K. is to coin a phrase illigal
and Sony have stated tht they will take legal action on
people who import ps3's from the U.S. or Japan, not to
mention that the US nad Japan ps3s lack some of the
european capabilities in some way

yes. Good luck trying to sell it to get all that money back.
however I have seen them on ebay going for $4,000. You never know.
I feel though it is too late, your better off holding onto the system(for it will have problems) and come four-six months from now they'll produce a better ps3!
then throw that one in the market for selling.

Wait a week then sell it, parents and gamers will be trying to buy it for extremely high prices. The highest I saw one sell for was 5,000 dollars, so during the Christmas rush someone could easily double that amount.

try selling it on ebay (www.ebay.com.au) ps3 isnt available yet here in australia and newzealand,im sure sumone would happily pay this price!! including me,i wanted to get one for my boyfriends christmas presnt but they arent available until March next year...

dude anybody who will buy a game system for 2000.00 is RETARDED besides who wants to pay through the nose for a system they can get(With patience) for far less. I wouldn't want to tell people how much i payed for a 600.00 system
