Ahh! Me too! I just moved to North Carolina from Chicagoland and I'm so jealous of the snow I'm missing!! My little sister has school cancelled today! I can't wait to go home for Christmas...there better be a storm while I'm home. I miss all the Illinois weather, we don't get tornadoes or really good thunderstorms in NC either =(

Michigan! Snow! Eeeek! Snow seems nice and beautiful but it isn't. At least you don't have to drive in it or shovel it. It is raining here now, but later on today we will get some accumulation of snow. I am jealous of you for not having to worry about icy conditions and loved ones out there driving in it. Weather patterns change with each season. Just be thankful you are not there, cause this storm is a whopper.

some winters are snowier than others. i live in michigan and we are having a ice storm right this minute but it is going to change to all snow and dump 1 to 2 inches an hour on us until late this afternoon. we have alot of ice on the roads and sidewalks right now and most of the schools are closed. it is a mess out there. but then some other years we have very little snow and hardly enough ice to shake a stick at. lol i love the snow until after christmas then i want it gone!!!! LOL enjoy your nice weather. merry christmas.

I live in El Paso, Texas and it does snow once or twice a winter. Though, last year it didn't snow a flake. A snow fall of three inches is a major occurrence here.

I live in Virginia and we usually get snow about every year but last year all i saw was flurries. We even got 14 inches of snow back in 2004. That was nice. The day after christmas is when it happened. Missed by one day.

atlanta gets some snow, once about every 10 or 15 years, a light dusting, or a few inches,,, i live south of Macon, we even get a little down here,,,,,, the last "big" snow, that i know of, a couple of feet, happened in 1973
ps, also in 93, as someone mentioned, i was in PA in a blizzard then lol,,,,,,wow so i guess, by that, we are due for a big one in 2013?

I live in northeast Alabama and we very rarely get snow. We used to get snow several times each winter, but not anymore. I sort of miss it.
