Sounds like you are trying hard to do things that other people think should make you happy. Happiness comes from within. Look inward to find your passion and pursue it. Happiness NEVER! comes from others.

No one is born destined for either happiness or unhappiness. We create them both for ourselves, sometimes deliberately, sometimes accidentally.
Now matter how low things get, things will always get better in the end. I've had my share of very unhappy times but preseverence and a changing of my attitade and lifestyle has helped greatly.

Meaning...happiness...tough questions.
No...it's not possible.
We are all meant for everything; all meant for anything.
It's called free will. Try it. You'll like it.
Go ahead, make a decision. Make a choice. You'll love it.
If you don't, then make a different one; make a better one at that!
How will you know if it's a better one? -- Make it and find out. :)

we're all meant to be happy. but being happy is different from being contented, & the latter is trully hard if not impossible, to achieve.
why would you want happiness when you know once you have it, you'd wanna keep it? unfortunately, these moments of happiness are but intermissions of a life-long journey of sorrow.
