I am going on 15 weeks along. EVERYday i am sick. Nausea and vomiting at least once a day. I switched pre-natal vitamins which helped. Nothing else seems to do anything. I tried gingerale, crackers, lemon and other tricks, but they only help for a couple minutes. I heard there are medications, but are they safe? Am I going to feel this way the whole 9 months?

NO medication is safe, ive heard of a lot of recalls and birth defects and miscarriages caused by all sorts of nausia medications for pregnancy. Jsut avoid them.

25ml of vitamin b6 three times a day is not only safe, but your doctor should have suggested it to you months ago.

I took it for nausia, and it seriously made it better within a could weeks. I had to eat every so many hours or i'd throw up, but the nausia was gone, and i could function again.

You are lucky you vomit only once a day, I threw up everytime I ate or drank even water I couldnt even keep that down it was awful I had to be hospitalized and put on medication twice. They wouldnt give you a medication that is not safe for you or the baby a lot of women are put on mediction during pregnancy, my mom was put on medication with me and my sister and that didnt affect us. If I didnt take medicine I would be dead for dehydration and my baby wouldnt be gettin the nutrition he needs by me eating. Dont let people scare you I tried everything too and was miserable I could get up from my bed I lost 20 pounds in 3 weeks, if it wasnt for medications I dont know what would have happen to me and my son, you dont have to take them forever I took them for a week and felt beter and stopped them It all went away when I was 19 weeks

I was sick until at least 20 weeks. but then I felt 100% better all of a sudden. You'll probably get past it. There are medicines that the Dr. can prescribe for you, but try to avoid that if you can. I found that the thing that made me feel better was a little warm tea and something sugary - like twizzlers. for some reason, the sugar settled my tummy and I was fine.
Sorry you're going thru it.. but it's worth it! :)

I had a horrible time with both my pregnancys. I still get sick sometimes and am 8 months. I feel your pain. My doctor put me on Zofran. It's really expensive without insurance! He said it's in the low risk category. It was so nice to be able to keep a meal down! It wasn't a total miracle, but it helped more than anything else I tried. I feel your desperation.

this is your unfavourable opinion, so i'm no longer able to respond to you. What you discribe is so different from the random acts of kindness, generousity, empathy, and actual worrying I see all around me virtually daily. the days i do no longer see it, are the days i do no longer pay interest. For you, according to hazard you're headed for an rather painful and drawn out DOOMSDAY, yet for the human beings I see around me experiencing mini-advantages on a on an regularly occurring basis foundation, they're headed for peace and happiness because of the fact they comprehend greater constructive acts than unfavourable acts. daily you awaken without 6 ft of airborne dirt and dirt on your face is a latest so do this day after today. once you wak up, beging to make a itemizing of each and every constructive element you witness - alongside with you probably did no longer awaken lifeless - omit something unfavourable, and on the tip of the day in case you're common and watchful, you will start to work out how blessed you're.

With my son I did. I was sick from conception to delivery. There are medications the doctor can prescribe. They are safe to take as long as the doctor prescribing them knows you are pregnant. Good luck

It could end tomorrow or it could last till you deliver. All women are different, but most morning sickness ends at about 15-20 weeks, so yours could be ending soon!

some women are sick the whole time but it's not common. Talk to your doctor at your next appointment and ask about the meds.
