No. The PERCEPTION, how you let it affect you or abuse of it can. I know tons of couples who watch porn. I know couples where only the guy watches porn and I know couples where only the girl watches porn and they all lead healthy happy lives.

If this is a question of morals and perceived notions someone can try and make it an issue. But if it's a straight ahead question of if I rent a porn every now and then will you become a deviate then the answer is no.

If you became one it was because you were a deviate ALREADY! :-)

To answer that question we must first address a fact about marriage. Marriage between two people means that there are certain things that only those two people can enjoy. Hopefully sex is one of them. Each partner not only takes pride in sexually fulfilling the other person, but also brings a sense of closeness from the partner through sexual arousal. This closeness and good feeling is what makes sex so wonderful and also so important. Pornography is an artificial way of replacing this very sacred experience. Even though the men or women in the videos do not actually come into your home, they offer a replacement for the sexual enjoyment that ONLY your spouse SHOULD be giving you. Whether our put your penis in another woman’s vagina for real, or you do it only in your mind, the fact remains that you are replacing the primary giver of your sexual love with something or someone else. This will raise questions for her...AS IT SHOULD...and ultimately lead to an accusation and possibly a separation. Pornography is attractive because it is a quick feel good. Most men who watch prono, also masturbate to it. This quickly becomes something men rely on to feel good, much like a baby using a pasifyer. It may be that you have a problem and you don’t know it. There are millions of Men in America today that are addacted to porn. Absolutely, on either side. It is not only men who enjoy Porno! I personally fell society has gone with wrong way in the last 2 decades. I never trusted my husband again, when I first found his collection. That mistrust, built over the years, and after 17-years of marriage and l living child, I Paid for the divorce. It is a choice, not an illness, to enjoy pornography. It is when you step over the line and want to "act out" the scene with your unwilling partner. Somethings in life, should have Never made it out to the General Public.

Anything can break a bad marriage.... Pornography in some cases can even rejuvenate a dead marriage... (dead in the sexual part) Overall its not a good thing for a good marriage.

It is all a matter of individual tastes... you did not state if you or spouse like or dislike pornography so it is difficult to answer... It can if either partner is insecure or against it in the first place...If both are open minded and comfortable with themselves then it should be O.K. especially if watched together!!! ;-)

Yes, it can really break up a marriage. Some people become so addicted to it, that they can't see who is by their side. It can do damage that some can't be repaired. Some get so they can't be with the one they are with, without it. What happened to turning each other on, without watching some others having sex.

Pornography can and will kill a marriage, especially if one's spouse is captured for child pornography

Without reading any of the other answers, I must say that I think my exes addiction to porn was partially responsible for our break up. I understand that when a man really gets heavy into porn that he would rather take care of his own sexual needs than to have sex with his woman.

Porn is a real turn off for me so it definitely wasn't something we shared.

It can break some marriages, and others it makes stronger. It's like vicoden: sometimes, it makes a good thing better, but if someone is doing it recreationally, it's bad.
