Consider half sleeve. Possibly going into wrap around shoulder.
Full sleeves always appear to age differently to me (the lower arm is exposed to more uv rays that fade your ink). Half sleeve look sexy with a t shirt or beater.

As a tattoo artist I of course think it is a wonderful idea!
Seriously though, consider long term appeal to youand others. Someone mentioned half sleeves, and for most men who want ink, thats the more practical route to go. Your lower arms will be exposed to more uv rays and other elements which will call fading at unequal pace.
Shp it around, talk to artist, they won't try to sell you on sleeves if they're anygood. Most will advise you to think of the big picture.

Personally I like tattooos, however, you should go to the tatto parlor where you are planning on receiving the tattoos and they can give you ideas and show you some examples. Get something that is meaningful to you. This is a lifetime commitment. Good luck and God bless****

Y'know there ARE artificial sleeves you can buy that will give you the look so you can see what YOU think of it....
I'd suggest something like that before you committed to anything that is so permanent.

I am a fan of tattoos and love the idea of sleeves. I think it would look great! Go for it! I hope you have alot of money and can withstand hours of pain. ;)

IF you got sleeves it would really take away from your looks. A real woman wants a good looking clean cut guy with a good build, not someone who looks like they gave a child some crayons and let them draw on them.

IMO, a small tat as an accent is fine. Blanketing huge swaths of flesh with tats is gaudy overkill. And, if that's really you in your avatar pic, it would be a shame to distract from your fine physique.

Personally, no I don't like them...but it's you that you should be doing it for...not for what anyone else thinks of it.
