I would rather my hard-earned tax dollars to be spent on education, health care, national infrastructure, and a host of of other worthy causes instead of being spent on obliterating a foreign country in the thinly-vailed name of private profit.

The US military budget is tragically overblown. If you think it's all going to the welfare of the soldiers, think again. The percentage of the annual US budget that goes to the military is staggering.

If you thinking its all about weapons, its not. It can be about medicine for the injured civilians, food, clothing, etc. The military doesn't use that money to kill, it uses it to protect. If you haven't noticed

It would be better spent on an NHS type service so that everybody can get good medical care.

A waste of money. Should have used it to help educate and feed the less fortunate at home and abroad.
