Reality check...stretch marks are here to stay. You don't get rid of them but they might "fade" a bit over time.

Medically speaking you CAN NOT remove or get rid of stretch marks in anyway shape or form. All you can do is Visuably reduce the appearence of them. You can use laser treatments, Strivectin cream, RetinA and Microdermabrasion as well as Chemical peels all to help Reduce the color and thickness BUT NOTHING on this earth can or will get rid of stretch marks....For abdominal Marks you can get a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) to reduce the AREA of the marks where the doc cuts out the affected skin and pulls down the healthy unharms skin, However if your marks are long and above the belly button it is almost impossible to surgically tuck these

Stretchmarks are 'battle-scars" (with you forever)...UNLESS YOU attack them with oils WHEN they're "in the making" (during pregnancy, during the stretching of the gestation period. Like most of us you waited too long. Bad enough you're all stretched out looking like you swollowed a melon...but then to have to be all greasy etc....well, uh huh! So, we all think we can do something about them 'tomorrow'...or first of all that we won't get them......................SURPRISE!! Sorry Charlie

The only thing that worked for me was applying Vitamin E oil to the marks. It took about 2 months for them to fade.

lots of my friends have used "palmers" cocoa butter. They said it helped a lot. I found it useful in helping with a scar from a cut (helped the skin recover faster) hope it works for you too
