He's so selfish, I dont think thats much to ask is it? He asked me to polish his (Motorbike) helmet and i did that for hours why wont he help me, i'm deperate!

I polish headlights and clean under the hood as well. That's what I do to get my helmet polished! As for getting your headlights polished initiate the motivation for the polishing and refuse to do his/or any other type of body work for the day.

Most men get bored of only doing one task - while polishing headlights can be rewarding it can get a little repetitive. Maybe ask him to check your boot and bonnet at the same time, much more fun!

Consider buying some bigger, shinier headlights to start with then invite your boyfriend to assist you in continuing to keep them big and shiny.
Make sure lots of people see them (taking photographs and sending them to magazines helps) and your boyfriend will be proud and polish them even more!

Apply the polish and start to buff it up yourself in front of him. He will soon develop an interest in taking on the work for you
