The first positive thought of my day was: 'Hey what a great question asked by a person named Sunshine!"
The next positive thought was: I am always able to do something nice even if those around me don't want to pitch in. The universe is vast so I can do it without seeking a reward.
The next positive thought is the simple fact that every time I ride my mountain bike around the local park and lake called the "Dingle", my heart always feels younger and I always get a chance to practise etiquette with those who are walking: children, tired parents, very old people. They all like it when I use the bell judiciously. The joy of riding trails that I must share with others has been a big surprise in my life.
Another positive thought is that despite some obvious opposition many women around the world now are finding a much more open horizon that allows them to participate in large global decisions. As a male this is very important to me because the female approach to the Earth must be properly represented.
Another positive thought flows from the word perseverance. I am amazed by human perseverance. This summer my wife and I met up with an old friend we had not seen since 1992. All three of us were astounded at how much love and mystery flowed between us.
It is possible with perseverance to accommodate change. Even very old people can change. I saw an old person two years ago who looked very ill due to some poor medication. Two years later that person is healthy, radiant, smiling and very, very intelligent. The individual is a master of humor, love and perseverance in what is right. He also writes influential books and sticks to his position with courage.
Anyway this run on positive thoughts got started with your positive and lovely question. There is something inextinguishable, pure like sunshine, that seems always ready and waiting to triumph over negativity and even tragedy. Each individual can always ready themselves to be the next one to make a positive move; to offer positive support or insight. This gift is nearly universal and exists in copious abundance even if it must be parcelled out in judicious bits.
The ancient Egyptians once said in reference to the 'right work': "Do not say this is discouraging. Do not drop your arms, but act with sprightliness". This comes from the 5th Dynasty.
Thanks for your positive request!

My cousin sent me tickets for an art exhibition at the Cleveland Museum of Art out of simple kindness. Made me feel good.
