OK - i'm crap at maths too but here goes! 8.30 x 30 = £249 this is how much you get paid per wk. £249 x 52 (weeks of the year) = £12,948 then you minus around 25% for tax and NI = £9711 divided by 12 (months) = £809.25 and this is roughly what should go into your back on a monthly basis! Hope this helps you out!

30 hour week 8.30 x 30 = £249
there are 52 weeks in the year, so 249 x 52 = £12,948.
£17,000 divided by 52 = £326.93 per week divided by 40 = £8.18
But I should admit at this stage that I am Cr*p at maths too...

wide-spread artwork week is 40 hours. So, divide 800 via 40. $20 an hour. wide-spread individual rounds off the year at 2000 hours. Or 50 weeks, even nonetheless this is fifty two fairly. $40,000 a year.

£8.30 (per hour) x 30 (hours per week) x 52 (weeks per year) = 12948 p.a.
(£17000 (salary) /52 (weeks)) / 40 hours = £8.17 per hour
(Obviously this is before tax and NI, I use www.listentotaxman.com to calculate my pay per month after deductions)

Hello,
Heres an answer to your question:-
Rate x number of hours (£8.30 * 30hrs)=£249 wkly
£246 * x4 = £996 per mthly (for 30hrs)
£996 * 12=£11,952 yearly
NOTE: assuming a tax rate of 22.5%
£11,952 - 22.5 % tax = £2,689
£2,689 from £11,952 gives you, a NET income of £9,263 per year.

you can multiply 8.30 by 30 to get your weekly rate, then multiply that answer by 4 to get your monthly rate, then multiply that answer by 12 to get your annual rate.
alternatively; you can divide 17000 by 12 to get the monthly rate, then divide that answer by 4 to get the weekly rate, then divide that by 40 to get the hourly rate.
good luck!
