My ear is stopped up--Have a head cold--any suggestions as to how to clear this up??

Your middle ear has fluid in it, and the eustacian tube (the tube that goes from the middle ear to the back of the throat), is unable to open. A decongestant should clear it up. Coricidin D is a good one, as is Dimetapp.

No quick solution I'm afraid without a ent surgeon doing something to your ear/throat connecting tube and by the time you've been on the waiting list for that it will have cleared up on its own. Be patient it will clear up but may take weeks rather than days.

Take a decongestant. Everything in your head is connect one way or another. So since your sinuses are inflamed and congested, its normal for your ears to be as well.

your sinuses are part of the ears so when you get a cold your ears nose and throat are affected

congestion in the eustachian tube. take something with a decongestant in it, like sudafed.
