Naturally you would not want to do it on the religious doctrine of "Intelligent Design" since that is bogus and presumably you are doing this for science class so you don't want to present a religious doctrine.
And there is no particular reason to focus on Darwin - remember that when Darwin's main book, "Origin of Species" was first printed, the word Evolution did not even occur in the book.
Two ideas are - you might explain how many people promoted the concept of Evolution before Darwin - particularly James Hutton, Buffon, Lamarck and Erasmus Darwin and others. Or, you might talk about how many churches have totally accepted Evolution - such as the Roman Catholic church and the churches associated with the "10,000 Clergy" project. That should quiet down a few of the ignorant religious wackos who think that you can't be religious if you are pro-evolution.

you can concentrate on just the scienctific fact that there is a distinction between micro evolution and macro evolution which most people don't understand. By showing the difference between the two you will be allow your listeners to see the evidence and lack of evidence for both as far as observable science goes. If you are not sure what the difference is between the two then check some of my past postings on the issues or go to "CreationWiki" on the net and on the main page under "evolution portal" you can click on those entries.

Maybe this page from Wikipedia will give you some ideas on what to do...it has many links to other people involved in evolution besides Darwin. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evolution#Misunderstandings_about_modern_evolutionary_biology

The Theory of Evolution versus God created everything. And to anyone who says the theory is rubbish, yes, there is proof on the theory of evolution already, natural selection has already been proven.
