no its not.it debuted on pc, and later into ps2.the "theme" series was the one avalaible in psone. :)

the sims game that is out for the ps1 is simcity 2000 but you can pick it for the pc for about £3

The sims came out for the PC after the PS one or PSX was pritty much extinct so no there where no "The Sims" games for PSX or ps one
