I'm just thinking through the consequences of a nation dividing all the parts up between people it says that live and work in Scotland, and those it ignores and says do not exist. It is a very dangerous game to play for which the consequences can cost lives.
I just hope that it is the right lives that are lost, and not some random innocent lives!

The question is really one of myself trying to understand the consequences of the April 1999 action. This action could have devastating effects right around the world, and indeed could cause the total collapse of several large financial companies in England and also in Scotland. (those which have not already collapsed and are hanging by a cross)

Your question is rather cryptic. I have been the other side of the Big Pond for 5 yrs now so I'm a bit out of the loop. However, as a former SNP member, it was always our policy that those properly resident in Scotland on Independence Day would have right of abode.
As to the losers, that would be England. It is a myth that Scotland is subsidized. The formula itself is reasonable, but Scottish money (in particular, Civil Service salaries and pensions) are counted as English earnings. Count them as Scottish earnings (because the money will remain in the Scottish economy) and you see how well Scotland can do as a socially responsible nation with a government which supports business appropriately.

I consider you are incorrect in your assessment.
The population of Scotland is tiny (5 Million and decreasing) and not of major significance in the economy of England (50 million and rising)
I have no problem with Scottish breaking from the Crown (Union) if that it what they want- so be it.
As long as they promise to stop whinging, at least then they can whinge at Alex Salmond their new President.
Its all a bit silly really as we are all now under EU law.
It will not change the racial mix of the Island as it is so mixed up by intermarriage anyway.
I am Scottish, my wife Irish (South) and my son born in England, and I live in England.
What? I will get a divorce, deny my son and buy a kilt and go and live in Scotland. I DONT THINK SO.

The queen is the first one to suffer. She will no longer be the queen of the united kingdom.
England will suffer, she has to apologies for taking on Scotland by force killing 1000's of her people .
Everything is going very well for the Scots now since they had their own Parliament and decide for their own. Cheaper houses, less taxes, free education,..

Nobody. Independence is only good. There is no suffering. Look at all the African countries that have become independent and how well they are doing. None of them has any suffering at all.
Even the people are free to be what they want to be:
Thieves, murderers, child rapists, corrupt police officers, pot holed highways, smelly suburbs full of rubbish, a high per capita number of prostitutes, Interesting diseases like HIV, D&V, Std, etc, poor diets, poor sanitation, no investment, beatings by government, thriving whitchcraft, etc.
Very good countries since independence. I love them seeing I was born there. was interesting to be raped and HIV freely donated to me and nobody arrested for it.
You get the feeling of togetherness and progress. Independence is really good, it seems.

From what I see the Scots want to be an independent country once again. And if they wanna be free, then they should be.
The only people to suffer will be the Brits, because they will lose another chunk of their old empire.

Just exactly who would be the "right lives" and how are they different from the "random innocent" lives?

Everyone in Great Britain will suffer. It would be grossly insane to break up the Union.
