The big hoopla is before it is allowed, we have had it for a few years. You never hear much about it now, people go on about their business, pay their taxes and move on. Those who want to make a big stink of it can waste precious time, with their blogs, hate mail and religious rhetoric, the rest of the population will be enjoying quality time with the people they love, while the haters miss out.

I think it should be allowed because nobody should have the right to say who someone can marry (with the exception of small children and farm animals). If a man wants to marry a man, or a woman marry a woman then its noone's business but their own. The government shouldn't have a say in the matter at all. Let the churches decide individually whether they want to marry them or not...they can pick and choose who they want to marry anyway...but let the homosexuals at least have the right to marry.

Well for anyone that is supporting gay marriages then your not supporting the bibles views on it. Yeah that is right the bible says it is a sin. Paul named off a few things and said that abuser of mankind will not enter into heaven. Yes thats right no gays allowed.

marriage is between a man and a woman, no way should gays be allowed to married especially in a church. i do believe though if a gay couple are together for years, they should be allowed some of the benefits of married couples, if they choose to and write it up in a contract of their wishes!!!

who is it going to hurt if two people of the same sex marry ?
NOBODY so why make it illegal? In my opinion if the Goverment can make Murder of babies(abortion) legal than why prevent Marriage of gays there is no harm done to anybody in that case

I will prabably get another violation, but I disapprove. A marriage is supposed to be between a man and a woman.
