Congratulations!!
I had a faint positive line on the first test I took.... Tested 3 days later and it was darker than the first line!
They say a line is a line!! The second line can only show up at all if there is the pregnancy hormone in your body!! And false negatives show up more than false positives..
Best of luck! :)

If it's early, you don't have alot of the horomones that the tests pick up on. If you have a line, even very faint, it's a positive result. I took a test 3 times and could barely see a line, I was pregnant, it was just very early. The best time to take one of those tests is with your first morning urine, its the most concentrated in horomones and could give you a clearer result. Otherwise, go to a doctor or clinic and they can do a blood test which is 100 %. Good Luck! :)

No you can't get a false positive. The only way a pregnancy test can be positive is if it tests HPT in your blood. Congrads, I'd go to a doctor if I were you. I thought the same thing, because I've always known that I wanted to be a mom, but couldn't really picture being pregnant in my mind, but it turned out right, I had my first Ultrasound Tuesday and it was so beautiful.

Its possible, but VERY unlikely. Theres got to be something there that test is picking up. My lines were so faint when I found out that I was pregnant that we were practically squinting and thinking it was just an illusion. Sure enough, 3 tests later there were still lines. The only real way to find out is go to the doctor. To maybe help ease the anticipation get another test or two and take them just to see what they tell you. For my boyfriend, I got one of the read out ones that says "pregnant" or "not pregnant" when it came up "pregnant" he then realized it was true. I almost guarantee you're going to be a mommy! Congrats to you and your husband!

You can see something faint after the test gets wet - isn't really a false positive, but isn't conclusive either. If you can't get in with your doctor quickly, they will do a pregnancy test at urgent care on a walk-in basis. I'm sure you're anxious to find out - I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

PCOS causes infrequent or irregular menstruation but it doesn't mean you're unable to conceive. My doc said it would probably take a while and I'd probably need fertility drugs, but I shouldn't have any major trouble getting pregnant if I really want to. So it's probably positive. Congratulations!

This has happen to me with my son. Took another and came out positive. BUT with my daughter, we took EVERY pregnancy test, some were positive and most of them negative. Didnt find out I was pregnant with out daughter til hubby took me to the ER and found out I was 7wks and 6 days prego(ultrasound). So..it is BEST if you get your blood drawn!! Congratulations to you both!

rare but it can happen. Usually you dont get 2 false positives in a row unless for some reason your hormones are up, then you'll need to see a doc. See a doc in iether case. Congrats!
