I think he made a very bad impression on a lot of people with his play and behavior at the World Cup. There are a lot of people who cannot be objective about him as he instills a love or hate relationship with fans and his female supporters are often blinded by how they feel he looks. I'm not a great fan of his but I do think he realized he had to make some changes to his attitude and the way he played the game. The arrogance, the diving every 2 seconds had to go. He did at times behave like a spoiled child. He was also a selfish player who after displaying all his tricks often came up with little benefit and a lack of finishing and desired results. I said months before that Messi would be more successful due to his mature approach to the game. But I do think he has improved now and I think he probably had a massive dose of reality from Sir Alex on his return . Got to remember Chels he is young and there is time and room for further improvement in his game, his skills and attitude.

Frankly, I had not even heard the name until you brought it up, but I applaud your parenthetical comment about the difference between dislike and hate. Football (soccer or the American kind) is a great way for people to be competitive without going to the kind of extremes that requires people to die. Save the word "hate" for someone who is threatening immediate mayhem, and develop your skills at understatement. The British do this so well, most times, although they do tend to forget themselves over football.
Sit and watch the play that makes the rest of the fans scream and curse in a sort of meditative silence, absorbing the energy they are putting into screaming to just observe and analyze. Then, when they have taken note of the fact that you are very still, and you have their attention, state your opinion quite simply. "I do not like that guy. He's bad for the sport."
Far more impact, wouldn't you agree?

I suspect you're not. But I disagree with pretty much everything in your first sentence.
How is he violent? I'm not saying you're flat-out wrong but off the top of my head I can't think of an incident where he's been violent on the pitch. I know he's always talking about going home and smashing stuff about but that's his business. A ____ stirrer? Maybe. Violent? I don't think so.
As for skills, have you seen him play recently? I suggest you watch a game of his objectively. To his credit I think he's cleaned up his game a lot (i.e. it no longer takes someone breathing in his vicinity for him to go to ground).
I'd have to agree with you about his looks though. Maybe I've just never been able to get over the shirt he wore when he signed for United, but I don't get it either. Obviously if you made me choose between the likes of Martin Keown and..well just any Arsenal player that springs to mind, I'd choose him. But that long neck and huge Adam's apple combo just doesn't do it for me.
I asked a few days ago about who hates Ashley Cole, but it was more to do with hating the way football is nowadays - Ashley Cole is the epitome of that. He also annoys me for numerous other reasons..

I basically basically hate the information. yet i'm a fire moon no count if it rather is of any relevance. I also have a chum who's a fire sunlight (Leo) and Earth Moon (Taurus) and that i don't think of her Sagittarius increasing explains it the two...yet her heart breaks of sadness whilst watching the information basically like the water indicators. What ought to describe this? Her Earth Moon or her Water Mercury?

I'm getting kind of used to him. He's an intense player and he's just a lad - with him and Rooney, Man U will be a handful for years to come. After his antics during the World Cup, I thought he'd never play with Rooney and Man U again. Well, just goes to show what I know. Kudos to Sir Alex, Rooney and Ronaldo for putting football first.
