Well, I'm not sure what you mean by colleges where "you have to transfer from one college to the other". Do you mean community colleges? Community colleges are a good choice for saving money in your first two years, and then you would transfer to a four-year school to finish your bachelor's degree. Lots and lots of people do this, and it's perfectly fine.
To become a psychologist, though, you will probably have to get a PhD, or at least a master's, so maybe that's what you mean by transferring schools. Don't worry about grad school yet! Most people get graduate degrees from a different university than the one where they did their undergrad--it's not transferring, it's a whole new degree. Just focus on one thing at a time.
If you choose a good four-year college, even a state school, then chances are that they'll have a decent program in psychology. Most schools have a decent program in psychology, so that's not too hard. Visit the schools you're interested in and figure out which one will be the school where you feel most comfortable and where you'll fit in the best. Being happy at a school is usually more important than whether it's a "good" school.

First things first. Are there no guidance counselors to advise you? Have you taken the SAT, or ACT, and if your scores are high, you can apply to Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Duke, U of Virginia, they have great medical programs. I would apply to as many universities as I could and see which ones you are accepted to and make your choice from there.

When one door closes, One door opens!
Apply to some colleges you have in mind, and whatever one excepts you, then go from there.
