what is the big wait all about? Won't windows media work as well. All I need the os for is games, surfing and burning dvd's. what do you think?

gaming takes a lot of resources
1 gig of ram minimum, for low end one's

if u wanna feed vista these resources, nothin left for gaming !

i would rush to get xp before they stop selling xp & u have no option but to feed the vista shark, lol

bugs, fixes, patches, service packs et all to follow .....

now u decide

you should wait for 3-6 months because windows vista is not successfully working in many computers . its on trail and will
improve a lot in a few months, till then if u have a computer be satisfied in ur operating system or if u havent got a pc then u can be patient for some months.

If you want to try a 64 bit OS, try Windows XP 64.

It's built off of Windows 2003 Server (Newer and more stable than regular XP, which is build off of Windows NT (older).

no, Vista is supposed to cause a lot of problems about what you put on your computer. I'd wait on the vista until you hear good things about it.

Hav u seen the screen shots of vista
And Microsoft must be speeding to release it

you should get it now most of them come with a certificate for a free vista upgrade
