I am 100% pro-life.

I cannot understand why the same liberals who think the government has the right to tell me how to rear my child, think that slaughtering the unborn is somehow their right.

Some "village," huh?

You are entitled to your opinion. That doesn't make you right. I have heard that Nathan actually said to David that the Lord had NOT taken away his sin. This makes sense in view of the fact that neither the Tanakh nor the New Testament teaches that murder can be forgiven. I think that the child simply would have died anyway had Bathsheba been David's legal wife at the time, unless the Lord could not allow David, knowing David's mind and personality better than anybody else could, to think he'd gotten away with placing an illegitimate heir on the throne. Or maybe he couldn't allow the enemies of Israel to have any doubts about the legitimacy of the heir. Whatever the case, everything he does is for the greatest possible good for the greatest number possible of his children. Besides, even you ought to realize how illogical it is to claim that God has to obey the commandments he gives to us. His commandments are given for benefit to human beings. He has divine laws he lives by, but they are certainly not the same as the ones we have.

The tragedy of our times is abortion. I'm sickened with the thought of a baby being ripped from it's whom as it silently screams and fights for life encompassed by the amniotic fluid which sustains it simply till it's lungs are ready to breathe on there own. After 3 months a baby becomes able to live. Yes it is still small yet it is formed and has a brain. The only reason it cannot live on the outside is that it hasn't enough stuff called surfactant in it's lungs to make the oxygen to blood gas exchange in it's lungs. It is a baby with a disability. It would be no different to simply kill any human with a disability as it is to kill a baby after the first trimester. Such a barbaric practice and should be illegal. TO CHERRY------Why can't there be debate now????????? how is it supposed to become illegal if there is no debate???? TO CINCY------ FACT: Newborn babies do not remain unadapted. What Suzie-Q does behind her Dr. office doors is all of our business. What if she was giving lethal injections to blind children. An unborn baby will fight for life if given the chance. Clawing and screaming as a matter of fact.
PROUD right winger...if that is your website you rock dude!!!

For those who think the supreme court legalized abortion. During the conformation hearings of samuel alito, a democratic senator said that if roe vs wade is overturned then the legalization of abortion would go back to the states. Also if a woman has an abortion then she should be sterilized at the same time.

I think that abortion is a very personal issue that is best left up to the individual. I know that most Christians are pro-life, but not everyone in this country is a Christian. Personally I am against it; however, what Suzie-Q does in the privacy of her doctors office should be Suzie-Q's business.

I don't understand why there are people out there that feel it is their duty to inject themselves in the middle of another woman's choice.

I think that if more people would mind their own business this country would be a lot better off. If you are against abortion, then the best thing to do would not to have an abortion. The Supreme Court ruled in favor of it and that's just how it is.

Her body...her choice....

And another point...pro-life advocates say that there are people that would adopt these babies...could you please explain where all these people are and why we have millions of children without parents that are in foster homes and orphanages?

I support protecting babies. Its not the babies fault that you don't want it and besides why should the baby have to suffer for what you have done. Now if someone was raped its a little different but, I still don't agree with abortion. You can give the baby up for adoption you don't have to kill it. There are plenty of people that want babies but, can't have any.

The Supreme Court has decided that it is OK for a woman to murder her fetus. My opinion is that these women should have never been born. If they want to do crack and have sex indiscriminately, then they should have themselves neutered first, instead of relying on the American taxpayer to pay to raise their kids in the governement assisted crack infested high rise, besides, even pro football players are just as culpapble by having 6 kids by 4 different women.

The Assemblies of God is unashamedly pro-life. Even though a United States Supreme Court decision legalized abortion in 1973, abortion is still immoral and sinful. This stand is founded on the biblical truth that all human life is created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27). From that truth issues the long-standing Christian view that aborting the life of a developing child is evil.
