We all love the classic Christmas songs sung by Bing Crosby and Burl Ives but what new rendition of an old classic or new song entirely gets you in the Christmas spirit? I love Silent Night by Boys II Men and God Rest ye Merry Gentlemen by Bare Naked Ladies.

Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer! I don't know how old the song is so I don't know if it's a classic or not! But it sure is funny!

I love Fairytale Of New York by The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl. I just love the fact that while it is obviously a christmas song, there's a darker, albeit in a very tongue in cheek way, meaning to it.

'You scumbag, you maggot, you cheap lousy f@ggot. merry christmas your @rse, I pray god it's our last.'

"Crossroads" with the aid of Cream (1968 Winterland Ballroom overall performance from the Wheels of hearth lp, no longer 2005 Royal Albert hall overall performance). IMHO, purely the most kick *** stay guitar overall performance contained in the history of rock music.

No question - hands down - "Santa Claus & His Old Lady" by Cheech & Chong. Best Christmas song ever. No question.
