Your pregnancy should have nothing to do with whether or not you can get a job. You are under no obligation to share your pregnancy with them at any time. You can wait until you are big and obviously pregnant and they can't ask you about it. It's none of their business and it's discrimination if they bring it up to you.
I would bring it up at around 30 weeks in order to plan for a maternity leave, but you don't have to until you go into labor if you don't want to.
Good luck finding a job!
I certainly wouldn't show up in maternity clothes to your interview.
Hey, I am 12 weeks pregnant too, so I hope we both have a happy and healthy 6 more months. I'm not showing much... but it depends upon what I wear. ;)

Well personally I think you will find it very hard because why would anyone want to employ someone who will work for 5 months then take leave for the next year?
I had the same problem when I was pregnant only I didn't really want to get a job, my partner was made redundant so in order to get money I had to go to the job centre every 2 weeks and tell them which jobs I was applying for, it seemed kinda stupid to me as its obvious noones going to employ me while im pregnant.

I was in you situation and found no one would hire me until after I had the baby. It's a shame but with all the new job laws that have been introduced employers won't touch you with a barge pole! At this time of year there should be seasonal work around that you would be able to do, or you could try a temping agency. Good Luck

you should legally accept an evaluation through your wellness & Saftey rep at paintings once you're pregnant and it assesses what you are able to and cant do at the same time as pregnant. From what you suggested i ought to say that going up ladders and lifting heavey packing containers is something that should be taken out of your responsibilities immediately. you're organization ought to legally grant you with responsibilities which wouldnt positioned u or ur children wellness in probability for the period of a few time at paintings, possibly flow onto cleansing responsibilities or something??? If ur on the spot boss is being unhelpful i ought to bypass him and communicate to a extra senior human being. As with different solutions the following you should also flow to the record and get some type of be conscious to indicate that you shouldnt be doing heavy lifting and so on.... i comprehend how you experience huney I hated through activity at the same time as i replaced into 12 weeks pregnant - even with the actuality that I havent the further soreness of being in a actual activity, I nevertheless got here upon it very stressful and that isnt good for the newborn both - i replaced into fortunate as I paintings for a huge company and replaced into able to flow to a distinct dept. You dont ought to admit you're pregnant till fairly previous due on 25 weeks or there abouts (thats the united kingdom besides) so in case you do flow for yet another activity if ur worried they could no longer grant you with a job becasue you're pregnant dont admit it!! good success

Yes you can. i got my present job when i was almost 8 weeks pregnant. Ofcourse you have to let them know. The only drawback will be that you will be getting a maternity allowance and not SMP because one shd work atleast for an year with the employer beforfe getting a statutory maternity pay. Maternity allowance is quite minimum but still i feel something is better than nothing.

u can still get a job. i would tell u not to tell them u r pregnant. by law they cannot discriminate, so they can't not hire because u r pregnant. what they will do is find a different reason they can't hire u. they will give u excuses like "oh we can't hire u because the job is looking for some with 2 1/2 years experience and u have only 2 years experience" or " sorry, u r overqualified for the position" or "sorry job taken". its a sad fact but its very true.

It's not true that they won't hire you because they have to pay you maternity pay. Seeing as you are already pregnant, your employer doesn't have to pay, but you can claim maternity benefit as long as you work for 26 weeks of your pregnancy.
You have the option of not telling them you are pregnant, although that might cause ill feeling when they find out. You could always say you didn't know and it was a total shock!
Or you could get a temporary job.

are you in uk or usa?
don't know about usa but in uk you cannot be discriminated against for being pregnant.
having said that a lot of employers won't hire you as it will cost them money and they'll find another reason for not hiring you if they know you are pregnant.
they can't, by law ask you if you are pregnant so in an interview i wouldn't say anything.
as someone has already said, it may be worth trying for a temp job if all else fails but i don't think you'll get maternity pay from them
try the links below to see if they help you. good luck

since your only 3 months pregnant your probably not showing. You can get a job and not have to tell them your pregnant during the hiring process as they may discrimanate against pregnant women and it's hard to prove discrimatnation on that alone. You might want to make sure that particular job is child friendly. I know at my old job (a daycare) they hired a couple of pregnant women, one was in her seventh month, they were obviously very understanding when it came to your kids.

You can still get a job but its unfortunately unlikely especially if you tell them your pregnant, which you probably will have to depending on what type of job you go for. If you go for shop work for instance, they might put you on the tills, however suppose they put you on the shop floor where you will be lifting heavy stock, do you really want to put yourself and baby at risk? If I were you I would probably look for something part-time in a office maybe?
