yes our family still has the same traditions, it's the same thing every year the immediate family gathers at my Grandma's to open gifts from each other then around 5:00 pm the entire family gathers to eat dinner and just talk after that me, my mom, my sister and grandma look at Christmas lights then we go back home wait until 12:01 and then we get to open our gifts from "Santa" and also my mom still signs from Santa. Some things just never change.

Unfortunately, all the traditions from my childhood have vanished over the years. I miss a bunch of them & I think this happens for a lot of people. That may be why this time of year can be so melancolic for many. Between being lonely & missing family & the traditions of youth, despair sets in for a lot of people.

Yes. I have to fill my own stocking, but I still hang it! Also, on Christmas Eve I enjoy reading "The Night Before Christmas" by by Clement Clarke Moore and the story of Christ's birth from the Gospel of Luke.

nope, used to around x-mas my dad would get really cranky, i usually got knocked around alot.
