because they are smart enough to know that it does not matter.

The "good" things he did were 1. only benefitial to Germany and 2. so small and far inbetween that you'd have had to grow up in Germany at that time to know about them. He helped Germany out of a depression; FDR did the same for the United States and people still attack him. Better yet, they attack him over the New Deal, the thing that ended the Depression! And the holiday, Labor Day, that's fine. MAny people have made holidays or have holidays named after him, but that doesn't make them any better. We know what Columbus did to the Native Americans, but we have Columbus Day, and 9-11 is a holiday to remember a tragedy, it should be honored but it surely isn't anything to be joyful about: over 3000 people died, thousands lost brothers, sisters, parents, loves.

The reality in politics and especially after war is that the "winner writes the history"
Hitler has been demonized by the "winners writing the history" for 60 years as it is great politics.
The Jews have used it to generate sympathy for the same reason for 60 years but do the same in Palestine and the USA has done worse.
Hitler did many good things for the German people, stabilized the currency, solved the massive unemployment, gave them back dignity after WW1.
Unfortunately as usual we get a lot of uneducated, stupid double syllable answers that are moronic.

Okay Dave,
I would be the first to be willing to admit that medical science would not be where it is today, probably, without his floosies chopping people into little pieces.
NASA might be non existent without all of the scientists who worked for him either. However, they weren't working for him by choice. It's the same as someone holding a gun to your back on the sidewalk and demanding your wallet. Would anyone blame you for handing it over? You didn't have much choice, now did you?
The six million Jews that Hitler is solely responsible for killing and torturing really overshadows any contributions that he made to society. SIX MILLION is a BIG number.
Enough said.

1. Most people don't know of the good things he did.
2. Most people believe the evil things he did far outweigh the good things he did.
3. Most people don't talk about Hitler very much.

Because he didn't do anything good.
Even if you 'think he did', it is blatantly obvious that all the terrible things he did far outweigh anything that could possibly be construed as 'good'.
Hitler and his racist nazi regiem produced nothing of value and murdered millions and enslaved millions more. Nothing he ever did should be considered 'good'.

They do.
EDIT: Why do I get thumbs down for stating the simple truth? Hitler apologists are always pointing at the Autobahn, the VW, the reversal of unemployment etc...often enough that I'm sick of hearing it.
So why the thumbs down?

Just a guess: perhaps when one systematically eliminates millions of people and brings war to an entire hemisphere, any good one has done pales in comparison.

Yea, you help a little old lady across the street, then you torture and murder a few million people, and all people talk about are the murders. How narrow-minded people are!
