How can I make my eyes look bigger and face slimmer. I want to look like a typical "white" girl.

JJ, be proud of who you are! There are millions of typical girls, and you are lucky to be different! You'll really appreciate standing out from the crowd when you are older. It's not so great to blend in with everyone else! If you just want to make your eyes look bigger, you can curl your eyelashes or apply (natural looking) fake ones, and you can line the inside of your lower eyelid with a white pencil (they've done that on What not to wear). To make your face slimmer, there isn't much physically you can do, it's your bone structure that makes your face wider (I have the same issue). You can use makeup to contour your face though. Go to Sephora or a good makeup counter and ask them to help with contouring blush or bronzer to bring out your cheekbones and help your face look slimmer. Also, the right haircut can help, make sure you keep your hair at least shoulder length and layered to reduce bulk on the sides of your head that could make your face look wider. Anyway, good luck with the makeup tips, but I hope you feel better about being yourself!! =)

To make your eyes bigger, curl your lashes, line the top lashes with black liner from the outer edge to the middle of your eye. Use a complementary shadow, such as green for brown eyes. If you are having trouble with blotchiness, try a little concealer on the dark spots. Then use a foundation that matches your skin tone exactly. Top with a tiny amount of powder. If you want to appear lighter, you may be able to use a foundation that is one shade lighter and a lighter powder over your face and neck. This may work, but if it looks fake, I would stick with the shade that matches. You'll need to experiment. I don't think it is ever good to try to be something your aren't. My best friend is half Filipino too, and she looks great the way she is. Play up your good features, and be confident in who you are. That will shine through, and you will attract people who appreciate you for the person you are.

JJ Just wear designer clothes, nobody cares if you are filipino. Be proud of who you are. The clothes you were says who you really are. If you were Walmart (White Stag)clothes, you are a Walmart Princess, if you were Donna Karen you are Donna Karen Princess. If you were surfer clothes you are a surfer Princess. Get the picture? Ask yourself who are you and just be that? Don't feel insecure of your eyes or skin tone, if you try to change, and no matter how much you change your appearance, most Caucasians will see right through it anyway. It's all about family, don't worry what others outside your family think of you. You obviously have two loving parents. Despite all odds they came together out of love & passion and made you. Why would u want to? Im sure u r probably very beautiful because of your mixed heritage. Ethinic looks are stunning. You should be proud of your ENTIRE heritage. Its really disrespectful to your mom & her family to try to completely rid your look of all Filipino distinctness. Im black & puerto rican and i LOVE it. Take pride in yourself and stop trying to be sumthing that you really arent. No matter how much bleach u put in your hair or contacts in your eyes, u will never be a "white" girl. Be proud of that.

One of my cousins (he is caucasian) married a Phillipino woman and all of their children (youngest is in his upper teens) are very good looking. Be proud of your heritage and how it makes you look, it is what makes you you. Rather than trying to change the way you look, decide which feature you like the best (perhaps your eyes) and learn how to better emphasise (sp?) them. You didn't say how old you are, but if you're high school aged there's a good chance at least one boy is attracted to you because you aren't like everybody else.

well when people are mixed they usually take more of their moms color of skin.just be ur self thats all that matters
