This is true that every sector is marred with corruption. Medical sector is one of them.. tooo
The many cases of doctors removing body parts of pple to sell them. They are paid to prescribe medicines of a particular company.
Some doctors furnish biased reports in favour of some pple for a court case... by taking a huge sum ..
All and above they are too normal pple and they too give out Bribe to get there work done at various places.
Any person whether Doctor or not can help in eradicating corruption by not takin or givin bribe. Being true to patients. Should prescribe them the correct medicine. Should encourage others and illiterate not to give or take bribes to get there work done .

Eradication may not be possible in India but it can be controlled to a great extent. Corruption is a very bad thing and it is the root cause for inferior quality of work, efficiency can be camouflaged by this corruptive practise. It is very unfortunate corruption is becoming a way of life. This can be handled with lot of sincerity by all the anti corruption agencies, Central Vigilance Commission etc. It may be surprised to know that these agencies are also highly corruptive.
Our political system is corrupt, administrators are corrupt, executive is corrupt, legal system is corrupt. The one and only solution is young generation and they should desist corruption. Youngsters should enter into politics as the present politicians mostly are corrupt and spoil-ed the entire system with bringing criminals in political system. Young journalists are doing pretty good innovative journalism and exposing corrupt. Now Youngsters should get into political system with clean heart and will and should keep themselves away from corruptive deals. If highly educated and intelligent youngsters get into politics and govern the nation then the nation can further progress tremendously and one can see to eradicate corruption.
Corruption is mainly encouraged by some of the politicians, administrators, executive, police, legal authorities. When the public approach for their needs authorities are extending their hands, if you don't fill the hand your job can not be done. This is what is happening either in small or big job. Public awareness and sicerity with the entire executive and judiciary and anti corruption authorities shall probe and punish the corrupt quickly.

The role of a doctor in eradication of corruption is at best marginal, if not minimal.A doctor is supposed to treat a patient nicely with all the care and expertise at his/her command and never try to extort or fleece. However, a doctor can when confided upon tell a patient to adopt a life style that will bring less tension.Tension is the root of several diseases. Secondly a doctor may impress upon the patient to have a smaller family in case it is large, and finally he/she may ask the patient to lead a healthy life and adopt a method to have safe sex so as to avoid contamination. The first advice on tension is related indirectly to the kind of life, and to corruption and the second to the family planning, as large population brings with it many problems, some associated with corruption.

It depens the kind of corruption. If you have gangrena in one of your legs, your doctor would rightly ask a surgeon to cut it off.
