Your question reminded me of that Robert Frost poem, "Stopping in Woods ..." you know that one? ... I love nature. There is a path by my house that leads into woods dark and deep. I often disturb the deer and they run off, afraid I'm some kind of hunter. I like to just sit and enjoy the streams, the waterfalls, the trees, and listen to the birds. It's just so peaceful to get away from the cars, and the hustle & bustle of living!

Very, very often. I am one of the "stop & smell the roses" type. I think that everyone should at some point find the time to do this, it is really important, time is too short.

the first time was September 20, 2001...it was my birthday on September 10th and my husband took me and all my pregnancy related water gain (i was 7 months pregnant and had a 18 month old, as well) to Atlantic city, NJ. we live in PA. we were at a McDonald's having breakfast and heard the news of the terror attacks. i was scared and my husband wasn't fazed in the bit. i wanted to immediately go back to the hotel room and watch the news, so reluctantly he took us back...i was horrified! i cried i was scared i wanted to go home. a million thoughts went through my head: it took us almost two years to get pregnant with our first daughter and we wanted two children around two years apart so we started trying to conceive early because of problems in the past ...this time we conceived easily and i thought why did God let me have children for us to die like this. i cried for almost three hours until my husband took us home. i was scared that there are only a few ways home from a.c. and if i was going to die, i wanted to die at home. i couldn't believe our nation was attacked like that! i was scared and numb for days and quite scared of planes flying over head. one day i woke up and saw the world for how beautiful it was that i never took the time to appreciate nature before. i was 27 at the time and look differently at the world and nature now on a daily basis.

When I'm in a deer stand waiting for an unsuspecting deer to walk by. I look around at the birds and other small animals and watch them playing and eating. And I'm amazed at God's handy-work and think how lucky they are to not be a deer.

You mean before, or after Yahoo entered my life? I used to take walks in the park regularly. I still appreciate it, and always will. But not as much as I should.

Several times a day, and as often as I can. I work near a river, and spend lunch there almost every day.
