I feel happy since i am healthy and my loved ones are and my life is normal but i was wondering who many people feel happy? For someone being happy can mean to win the lottery or just to have a casual day at work without stressful situations. Either way are you happy?

Yes, thank you for asking and pleased you are happy too!

A while back I realised that if I couldn't be happy here and now, then how on earth could I be happy on a desert island or sitting beside a swimming pool?

I therefore decided I'd take more time to look for things that I enjoy that previously just passed me by. None of them are really big things. A nice hot shower, the fact that the bills are paid, that my daughter is pleased with her new haircut or that my family will be home from work/school in another two hours.

'Tuning in' to these things reminds me I have a lot of nice things in my life, which makes me happy.

I didn't think of this by myself and I don't think it's a new idea, so I'd like to think this could work for other people too. Anyone who's feeling a bit low why not give it a go, after all, what have you got to lose ?

Glad you're happy :-)

I've had a lot of stress this last year, money problems and all kinds of other stuff. However, I have a great family, great partner and I feel, a great future- regardless of these problems.

Unfortunately, I also see a lot of horror in the world- human abuse, animal abuse- which affects me deeply so I daily try to do what positive actions I can to help 'do my bit'.

Overall, I very much feel happy to be alive- the world is still a beautiful place- and it's making those positive differences that make me feel happier, and more alive.

Happy?

I am a very happy person but should I be?

with my work?....YES YES YES!

with my home?...It is only 600 sf but I probably would be if I did not have such thoroughly evil landlords.

with my relationship?...NO NO NO!

with my family?...Yes, but I wish everyone lived closer together.

with my looks?..probably never will be I am too average.

with my health?...not really.

with the status of the world in general?...H E double hocky sticks NO!

I guess it is not so much the current reality that determines happiness but the capacity for hope. A persons hope for the future and the unlimited capacity of that future.

And freedom. The freedom to act and choose and control their reactions to various cucumstances.

And faith. Fatih that holds you in the direst place and gently reminds you that no matter what the current reality, there is a creator that loves and forgives. A creator who will ultimately turn every one of your tears into a joyus shout of laughter.

not really just plodding on through life. You wont be happy for ever either, im glad you are at the moment though. The problem is we all die eventually you and your loved ones will be seperated one day, the only hope is that there is a life after death.

happiness dwelled in ourselves

searching for happiness out of our soul is ........................

happiness is that which cant be a materialistic

it is the emotional state of mind

so people compare their normal human sufferings to unhappiness.

GOD gave us this wounderful life as a human being is a great blessing.

each and every creature that lives strive hard for food and life

we have all the things that others have and also a wounderfull brain to work for us.

i am happy for myself and praying GOD to make their wisdom bloom to understand his creation.
