What is the better choice treo 700p or the treo 700wx?

I have used PALM since 2001, and love it to death. I went to the Verizon store to try out the 700W the morning it came out, and I thought it was absolutely crap. I have used Windows mobile lightly before, and was very unimpressed with this version. Besides, Microsoft even had to tone down the screen display because Windows can't even support the high resolution/bright display (the 700P has a brighter screen)

But the only thing that impresses me about the 700 (P or WX) is the high-speed internet and the 1.3 MP camera (all other Treos have .3 MP cameras)

Windows doesn't have as many features or even little-known features like Palm does. I have been using my Treo for 3 years now, and every couple of weeks or so, I will still find a little shortcut or something that I never knew about it.
Windows just seems to basic. I back Palm because they have been developing products EXCLUSIVELY for PDAs/smartphones since they began - meaning their company focuses ONLY on pdas. Microsoft has a little segment working on an operating system for several years, and it just seems like Palm is still really ahead of Windows.

they are both very nice phones the only diffrence is the p runs palm os and the wx runs windows.
i have a treo 650 so i would lean towards the P since im allready runninng palm os. if this is a new phone though for you (youve never owned a treo prior and have never owned a palm product) i would go with the wx . my wife has a wx and she loves it. you have to have service pack installed onto your laptop computer and or home computer to sync the wx though. so if your runnning a bootleg windows xp you wont be able to update your phone or sync it to the computer. thats if you buy a wx. and once you have a wx everything works just like your computer cause its windows.

now if you go with the p you can upgrade everything on the phone to make it look like windows but still be a palm os. the thing about palm os is its super easy to figure out its all drag and drop and stuff.
both phones have awsome internet options both have the same calandar features and both have a lot of memory so know you just need to ask yourself.
do i want a windows phone???? ...go with wx
or do i want a palm phone???? ...go with p

whatever you do dont stray from treos though on the smart phone market they are the best

If you want more of a PHONE, get the P. If you want more of a PDA, get the wx.

The 700p's OS is already 4 years old, but has a better battery life than the wx.

i became quite staring at them before. i've got faith that the "700p" has "Palm OS" whilst the "700wx" has "abode windows portable OS". different than that i think of they're the comparable, i might choose the 700wx.
