Well, it usually takes anywhere from 12 to 24 hours for foods to actually pass through your body. If you ate something spicy last night and your body isnt use to it, then not only has it Not passed through your digestive system, but your body just hasnt adapted to it yet.
Tums, pepcid ac, usually helps with that.
Hey at least spicy foods clear up sinsus problems and make your bowels move..

I don't feel that way. I think you stomach cannot adapt to spicy food, so avoid eating them or eat as little as possible.

Try to eat some piments and keep them in your mouth for 12 hours. It will hurt. Same for your stomach...
