To be honest, when a guy calls you hot, he wants to bed you darling. I'd much rather be called beautiful than hot. Shows a man has looked beyond just your looks.. you appeal to him physically and mentally.
It is a nice compliment, but i wouldn't be flattered like i would if he caled you beautiful.
